Lemonbee Creative is led by Melissa Woodward, an award-winning photographer, designer, and artist based in Greater Sudbury.

Originally founded as Live Every Moment Photography in 2011 in Kirkland Lake, the business was reimagined as Lemonbee Creative in 2023 after years of growth, change, and creative exploration.

Art has always been at the centre of Melissa’s life. After initially pursuing studies in Liberal Arts, Psychology, and Sociology, she returned to the creative field to study Graphic Design, graduating with Honours from Niagara College in 2009. Her background in both design and photography continues to shape her artistic approach, blending creativity with thoughtful storytelling and strong visual design.

Melissa is an active member of the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC), where she currently serves as National Salon Chair. She holds the prestigious Master of Photographic Arts (MPA) designation and was named Photographic Artist of the Year in 2017. Her work has been recognized and exhibited in galleries across Canada and internationally.

Whether creating portraits, commercial imagery, or artistic work, Melissa focuses on creating images and designs that feel authentic, expressive, and lasting.

Accreditation is the first elevation above general membership and is achieved by submitting samples to a PPOC board of Review for Accreditation.
